14th Annual “Walk to Talk” held on June 25th 2016
The Aphasia Center of California held its 14th Annual “Walk to Talk” fundraising event on Saturday morning, June 25th, 2016 at 9am. The event featured a ¼-mile and 3-mile untimed walk/run at Lake Merritt. This fun, family event raised awareness of aphasia and funds for ACC programs. More than 135 ACC participants, family members, friends, and members of the community joined us for live music, refreshments, a silent auction, and some very special surprises!
Donations raised by walkers totaled more than $36,000! A big thank you to the walkers, donors, sponsors, and hard working event volunteers who made the “Walk to Talk” such a success!
