Aphasia Center Founder to present at the ASHA Convention

Dr. Roberta Elman, Aphasia Center of California’s Founder & President, will be presenting three professional seminars in November at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Convention in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Elman will be discussing the ACC’s unique treatment philosophy and innovative clinical techniques. Her seminar co-authors are all internationally known aphasia experts and include Dr. Audrey Holland, Dr. Nina Simmons-Mackie, Dr. Mary Boyle, Dr. Aura Kagan, and Maura Silverman. Dr. Elman will also be presenting a seminar about the isolating impact of aphasia with co-authors David Dow, a stroke survivor, and David’s mother, Carol Dow-Richards.
