2017 “Walk to Talk” held on Saturday, June 24th
The Aphasia Center of California held its 15th Annual “Walk to Talk” fundraising event on Saturday morning, June 24th, 2017. The event featured a ¼-mile and 3-mile untimed walk/run at Lake Merritt. This fun, family event raised awareness of aphasia and $45,000 for ACC programs! More than 130 ACC participants, family members, friends, and members of the community joined us for live music, refreshments, a silent auction, and some very special surprises!
Donations raised by walkers will support ACC programs in the Northern California Bay Area. All the participating walker, donors, sponsors, and hard working event volunteers made the 15th Annual “Walk to Talk” a huge success!
