Recreational Classes

The Aphasia Center’s “Sit and Be Fit” class provides an opportunity for exercising to music from a seated position. The course is taught by Elyse Dukatz, a retired Skyline High School dance instructor with more than 20 years’ experience teaching adult education fitness and movement classes.

The Center’s “Club Aphasia” provides members a chance to engage in leisure activities and social interaction while participating in adult games such as dominoes or cards. This is a peer led class and there is no fee when participants are enrolled in other Aphasia Center programs.

“My mother looks forward to going each week―it’s all good!”
