10th Annual Walk to Talk held on Saturday, June 23rd

The Aphasia Center of California held its 10th Annual “Walk to Talk” fundraising event on Saturday morning, June 23rd, 2012. The event featured  a ¼-mile and 3-mile untimed walk/run at Lake Merritt. More than 120 people attended this fun, family event, raising more than $30,000 to support treatment programs at the ACC!

Scores of volunteers made this event possible by volunteering to work, sponsoring a participant, asking friends and family for donations, and joining us for the walk. They also solicited gift certificates and raffle prizes from local businesses.

Businesses helped by sponsoring the event and donating merchandise and professional services.

A big thank you goes to all the walkers, volunteers, and contributors who helped to make this event such a a big success!

You can still make a donation in support of a walker!  Please follow this link: http://www.regathon.com/aphasia/
